Nature
The leaves fall gently,
Silently, to the ground.
Little squirrels chatter
And run all around.
The caterpillar creeps slowly
To find a snug place,
Where he spins a cocoon
That covers his face.
The wind blows briskly
Through all of the trees.
Each little animal
Can hardly be seen.
They are all ready
For the coming event,
When dark clouds arise
And snowflakes are sent.
Soon a white blanket
Of diamonds appear
That shows we are entering
Another New Year!
